Perspective Accounting Limited

Delivering professional services with integrity and care for clients

Perspective Accounting was formed in 2012 by Managing Director Chris Bendall FCA., a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in accounting practice.

From their offices on Birdineye Farm, Uckfield, the directors and staff offer a friendly approach to providing clients with the services and advice they require. They are proud to be a small business offering a more informal approach, yet with the professionalism and level of service to be able to deal with more complex affairs as required.  www.perspectiveaccounting.co.uk

Chris lives on the farm, which is owned by his father-in-law – he values the benefits this brings to him in both his domestic and professional life, including being able to walk to work, bring his children up in a rural environment whilst still being close to town, and meet clients in a relaxed workspace.  He was reluctant to move offices to a town-based industrial estate and lose the benefits of living and working at Birdineye Farm although this was something he may have had to consider to overcome his Broadband issues.

Chris highlighted the need for fast, reliable connectivity in his business, particularly as the use of Cloud-based accounting software is integral to its operation.  Utilising cloud-based computing increases capacity, enhances functionality and enables him to add additional services on demand without having to commit to potentially expensive additional infrastructure and training costs.

Prior to the eSussex infrastructure development project, Chris said that his business was unable to expand – he couldn’t make his business ambitions work or pay as his old broadband didn’t support Cloud-based technology and was very slow, in particular in being able to upload large data files.  This meant that he was turning down new business including outsourcing from external companies who asked him to directly manage their accounting, because his systems couldn’t cope; in turn, taking on new staff to enable him to increase his client-base also wasn’t possible due to the connectivity inefficiencies.  It was a catch 22 situation.

Now that FTTP is available, Chris has been quick to embrace the advantages it will bring and has already ordered an upgraded service from his provider, allowing him to undertake all his business activities, and, equally importantly, enabling the potential for him to grow his business.
